I am so late...

I am so behind on the blogging.  No wonder..I've caught knittingmachineotosis!  It is a very serious condition...  I was perfectly happy with my knitting machines until I met someone that had a newer Juki.  It is so beautiful...  I like to just look at it.  Then, I won a Studio 303 and what an amazing machine that is!  Oh! Did I mention the Juki 2400 Hi-Memory came with a ribber?  That's to die for!  And, the Studio...  That works so quietly and smoothly...  did I mention it's an amazing machine?  Of course, I thought it was about time to add a ribber to my Brother KH230 Chunky knitter.  Ribbers are very nice and save a lot of work.  As I was searching out the ribber someone contacted me about a Studio 360, with a ribber, of course.  I bought it...  yep, I did.  Then I found the ribber for my Brother.  Yep, I have it... knittingmachineotosis.  If I die..I will go happy! 

Knitting Machines

I have been knitting with machines for many years but didn't realize what a world of machine knitter's there is. I love looking at the older machines that some knitters have! They are so astounding and more so because they still work and sometimes extra parts can be found for them. From what I see they are real treasures.

I love the forums and have found the internet is truly the 'information highway'. I think I will go cruise the highway just a little longer....

Here is a humble beginning for a beautiful knitted sock monkey. I made several of these for Valentines Day. The orders kept me knitting..... And, that is what I desire to do.....

Sock Monkey Heaven

That's where I live... Sock Monkey Heaven. Well, actually, we call it Monkey Town Station. I knitted a sock monkey for a dear lady friend. I made the pattern by looking at the sock monkeys on my pj bottoms. Now, it's almost full time for me. Especially, the designing end of it. I have some new ideas that I want to develop before fall when Christmas bazaar time begins.
